Maegan despises writing about herself in the third person. She also hates touting her accomplishments like she thinks she’s really done anything special…

Now that we got that out of the way, I’ll tell you what you need to know. I was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I went back to school in my late twenties and studied Stage Production Technology. I now work full-time in the alterations shop of a major department store and part-time in the various theatres around the area.

 I’ve been an avid reader from a very young age and the top goal on my list of things to accomplish in my life was to write and publish a book. During the summer of 2013, while working backstage on The Lion King, I read eleven books in four weeks. I read my first New Adult book and was introduced to a genre I felt I could totally relate to. The idea for Perfectly Broken and the character of Lili was born backstage during that time.

When I happened on this site, I thought Bernardo Velasco looked a lot like Asher, if you imagine him with cold, blue eyes.

Welcome to my New Adult Romance blog

I will talk about the things that inspire me and hopefully will also feature books by other authors that I have loved, as well as host interviews, contests and giveaways. We can discuss and you can tell me what you’d like to read, what sort of heroes you like and what kind of stories you prefer.

I love romance, especially the dark, contemporary kind, and I am currently working on a series of interconnected novels called “Inked Brotherhood”, the first one of which is called Asher, after its protagonist. I am currently in the process of editing the book, but it should be out in May 2014. I am very excited about it. The beta readers who have been through it say it’s good, and I love my angsty boys.

Time to admit I have a penchant for tortured beautiful boys and strong heroines that save the day… Oh there will be lots of testosterone, no worries—strong alpha males claiming their mates. But they will have their weak moments as well, their softer side—and the girls will step in and play their role…

And let’s not forget the hot sex. Did I mention there will be hot sex? Lots of it. It makes the world go round…
